By accessing or using Accountability Checkpoint ("Service," "Platform," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
Accountability Checkpoint is a web-based goal tracking and accountability platform that provides:
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent service limitations is prohibited.
Our Individual plan is priced at $7.99 per month and includes all features described in Section 2.
New users receive a 12-day free trial with the following terms:
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method $7.99 monthly until you cancel. Subscriptions automatically renew each month on your billing date. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your complete credit card information. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms and authorize them to store and charge your payment method.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription.
Trial Period: Cancel during your 12-day free trial for no charge.
After Trial: Subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and your data may be deleted after 30 days unless required for legal purposes.
You retain ownership of all goals, progress data, and content you create ("Your Content"). By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and agree not to:
While we maintain regular backups, we recommend keeping your own copies of important data. We are not liable for any data loss.
You agree NOT to:
You may invite accountability partners to view your public goals. Only goals explicitly marked as "public" will be visible to partners. Private goals remain confidential.
You are responsible for who you invite as partners. We are not liable for interactions between users and their accountability partners.
You may revoke partner access at any time. Revoked partners will immediately lose access to your goals.
The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Accountability Checkpoint and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
Our Service is a goal-tracking tool and should not be considered professional advice. We are not liable for decisions you make based on information in the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM (OR $100 IF LESS).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time with or without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@accountabilitycheckpoint.com to resolve disputes informally.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Accountability Checkpoint regarding the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
